Recent events and the ongoing crisis in Venezuela have had a devastating impact on communities across the country.
This page has been created to share information, direct support, and outline the collective efforts being made by Miguelle & Tons, DC10 and Solid Grooves in response.
WHY THIS MATTERS
Venezuela has been affected by two high-magnitude earthquakes, leaving thousands of families facing critical, urgent and unexpected challenges. Given the economic situation and current infrastructure, the people of Venezuela are in desperate need of global assistance and immediate external aid.
Local and international organisations and volunteers are working to provide immediate relief assistance, including shelter, food, hygiene support and essential supplies.
ABOUT SUN.RISAS
We are supporting Sun.Risas, a vetted organisation working directly on the ground in Venezuela.
Sun.Risas have activated their emergency response network to provide immediate assistance to affected communities, working alongside trusted local partners and volunteers.
Their current focus includes:
• Providing emergency shelter for those displaced.
• Supporting access to food and clean water.
• Coordinating essential aid distribution.
• Delivering urgent relief materials requested by local teams.
As the situation develops, their next phase of work will include support for displaced families, including safe spaces to sleep, eat and access basic hygiene facilities.

Sun.Risas has been selected following direct contact and review by our team, based on recommendations from trusted contacts within the community and in Venezuela.
They have also been personally chosen as an organisation to support by Miguelle & Tons. This connection was an important part of the decision-making process when choosing a partner organisation that is both active and trusted locally.
OUR COMMITMENT
In support of the ongoing relief efforts:
• Miguelle & Tons will donate their performance fee from Solid Grooves' event on 2nd July.
• Solid Grooves and DC10 will donate a portion of the proceeds from our event on 2nd July.
All contributions will go towards supporting Sun.Risas’ emergency response and ongoing humanitarian work in affected areas.
